Cupcake nails!!!

I've been wanting to do cupcake nails for a while, I finally did them and they turned out awesome, and it was pretty easy!
So I didn't take pictures as I went but it was really simple.  I started with some tips with Confetti-Moonstruck, and drew a few lines with a yellow Art Deco striper.  The colors I used on the icing are a barbie pink that I mixed a while back, Orly-Purple Pleather, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Green With Envy, White On, and Blue Me Away.  For that part, I just took the polish brush with a little polish on it and just kind of dotted it in, it doesn't have to be perfect, it's icing!  The cherry is Sinful Colors-Gogo Girl, and the sprinkles I used some Nail Star 2-way nail art pens.  I was really excited with how these turned out!!!

Green Ocean and clippers!

So my mom ordered these nifty clippers from Avon, I don't really use clippers on my fingernails, but I usually do on my toes, these are really cool and they have this long handle.  I've been filing my toenails down lately but I really wanted to try these and as always I trimmed a little too much, but whatevs it's not flip flop weather yet :)
Also, I stopped in the Walgreens and bought this polish that I pick up every time I go in and always put it back down, I've been looking for Red Ocean but they never have it around here, so I settled for this one and I LOVE it!  This is my first flakie glitter, and I love the look but I don't really care too much for the way it applies, very chunky.  I also did several topcoats because I love that smooth feeling with polish, but it's still pretty rough :(
This is one coat Orly-Purple Pleather with two coats of Sinful Colors-Green Ocean, and a little bow from these cute Crayola nail stickers I recently bought.  I couldn't really get a good picture, but this was the best one.  I did this over black on my toes and like it a lot more, but I will spare you my hobbit feet for now, lol.  I still really like it with this purple though.  So that's 2 coats of glitter and at least 3 topcoats, it's gonna be fun taking this one off, I always regret glitter but I just cant stop!

Water Marbling with Hollie!

I've done water marbling a few times, and I'm never completely happy with it.  I love how delightfully random it is though.
I did 1 coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-Wet Cement for my base.  I used Wet Cement, Avon SpeedDry-Strawberry, and Kiss Nail Art Paint for the marbling.  The tips are Pure Ice-French Kiss and a couple of nail stickers I've had for a while, and a topcoat!

I was pretty happy with the way most of them came out, but it probably wont stay on very long, we shall see.

80's Mermaid Mani

I really liked this one!!!  I did 2 coats of Avon Nailwear Pro-Sunshine, topcoat, then tape, this really pinky pink that I mixed from some old polishes, topcoat, tape, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear-The Real Teal, then a couple more topcoats lol, the tips started receding so I touched up with the teal the next day.

Nail Disaster!

I just did my first craft post, but I also have some nail stuff to post aboutSo, me and my friend Hollie usually do our nails together and if I'm gonna use tape or plan on doing something special, I do a base color earlier in the day so it can be good and dry for the next step(s).
This is a new polish I got about a week ago, Avon Nailwear Pro in Blue Lagoon (love the name!).  It's so pretty, but pretty sheer, almost a 3-coater, it's also my current toe color.
Added my topcoat and was pretty satisfied with it, but still feeling a little impatient and also didn't follow my "potty before you polish" rule.  So I waited a little longer and felt pretty confident that I was safe to do whatever, WRONG, successfully pulled my pants down and up and even no problems with the zipper then I turn and scrape my nails up against the sink, destroying every one on the right.  Very frustrated, I just said whatevs and redid them, totally different later at Hollie's.  I didn't love my new mani but I was content, but then I get home and this happens!
Broken corner, and I'm extremely OCD about such things so I had to cut it :( which means I had to cut them all :(:(:(  Also, details about this mani that I was not so excited about...two coats Sinful Colors-Dream On, two pieces of plumbers tape from corner to corner on both sides, Nicole by OPI-No Limits in the triangle area, it was very uneven so I tried to fix it up with my handy glitter striper, FAIL!
I really dislike short nails on myself and have been keeping them pretty long lately, and they were so strong!  That's why I was so upset about the break, but oh well, they will grow back and pretty fast I have magnificent nail growing powers!
So my little tiny baby nails inspired me to do Crayola-ish nails.  I used Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in Deep Purple(thumb) and Going Green, Sinful Colors in GoGo Girl(red), Pure Ice in French Kiss(blue), and Avon Nailwear Pro in Sunshine(yellow).  Then I added black tips, I really like them, a lot!

Also, some Halloween leftover nail stickers, I think they were Kiss brand, I love the bat on the pinky, very Batman!  Also, excuse my non-professional clean up jobs, and the dates on some of the pictures, idk what was going on with my camera.  That's all for now, comments please!!!!
